2025 Wooden Boat Rendezvous Announcement

The 2025 Wooden Boat Rendezvous in Deer Harbor will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd at Deer Harbor Marina on Orcas Island. The Rendezvous is a gathering of wooden boats, owners, friends, and enthusiasts. Some of the finest wooden boats in the region are expected to be present. The annual wooden boat Rendezvous is an opportunity for fellowship, story-sharing, and enjoyment of the wooden boat tradition in the beautiful setting of Deer Harbor. There will be free viewing of the boats on the docks and all are welcome.

Most boats arrive on Monday and slip reservations can be made by clicking on the green “make a reservation” button on Home (deerharbormarina.com). Please do not call or email for reservations unless you have a specific question or need help as it is peak season and the marina is fielding a lot of calls. Discounted moorage (40% off) is available, applied as a credit once you checkin at the marina. (Prior to checkin, the full rate will be charged upon making the reservation via dockwa.com).

Tuesday there is a sail race at Noon; followed at 4 PM by a small boat rowing race that starts at the marina beach. A no-host dinner after the Tuesday races will be at Island Pies (myislandpies.com), across from the marina starting about 6 pm. The Marina store has breakfast and lunch offerings.

Schedule:

Monday Sep 1, boats arrive at Deer Harbor.

Tuesday the 2nd, Skippers meeting 9AM, outside Marina office.

Noon, Race starts south of marina.

4 PM, Row race starts on the Marina beach.

6 PM, Awards ceremony and dinner at Island Pie.
